  1. Dogs Leave Paw Prints - by L*K

The Color is a little washed out, but trust me, it's cute.   I just used some regular DMC floss and any left-over overdyes that looked interesting or useful (specifically: the blues in the lettering, the blue in the house, the red lettering, and the green accent weeds/grass)

And now we'll return to my regularly scheduled WIP Killing (I'm thinking of the WeeBeastie UFO, but you never know... I'm moody like that)
  2. Water Dragon by Janlynn - WIP killed!

This is Water Dragon by Janlynn.   It's a kit that I bought shortly after I started stitching (ok, I started stitching in 92 during high school, and I got this kit in '96, but I hadn't done *much* stitching in high school)...

It used DMC kit floss (thank god, because I was starting to worry about getting low in some of the colors, though I never actually ran out) and blue 14ct aida fabric.    I hated stitching on it, probably because during the same summer, I started experimenting with linen and silks, which will ruin any kit :)   I also started working on TWs, and those are so much prettier and complex.  But I did get this done!  Huzzah!  Just 15 years! (ish)

  3. Burnt to Perfection - WIP Killed

This is Burnt to Perfection by Sue Hillis Designs.   I started it in 2010, and I finished it Jan 16, 2011.   One more WIP down! :)

This piece wasn't on the WIP killing list, but I made it for my supervisor.  It's a Walmart kit from 2000, so altering it to say 2010 wasn't so very hard.   I finished it into an ornament.

Wine a Bit, by Sue Hillis.
    Finished 12/18/2010

The first of my WIP killing adventures.
I used overdyed floss instead of the three or four different shades called for in the grapes and leaves and I am quite happy with the outcome.
